Grape-variety. Selected Tuscan Sangiovese from the vineyards of Massanera. Wine harvesting: Manual, with small crates of 14-15 kg to avoid crushing the grapes. Vinification: Soft crusher-destemmer with large rollers. Fermented in stainless steel tubs. Two pumping over operations per day until the separation of wine from leeches. Maturing: In French oak barrels with capacities of 0.500 and 0.250 liters stored in underground wine cellars and in part in steels tubs placed in an air-conditioned area. Ageing: In bottle, from three to nine months. Characteristics: Ruby color, Intense fragrance of ripe red fruit, iris and cinnamon, Fresh, dry and persistent taste.

Grape-variety, 90% Tuscan Sangiovese and 10% other red grapes. Wine harvesting: Manual, with small crates of 14-15 kg to avoid crushing the grapes. Vinification: Soft crusher-destemmer with large rollers. Fermented in 30 hl oak tubs with two pumping over operations per day until the separation of wine from leeches. Elevation: In French oak barrels with capacities of 500 liters for 1-3 years. Fining in bottle for at least 6 months in an air-conditioned area. Characteristics: Intense ruby color. Fragrance: dark fruit, blueberry, prune, dog rose. Long-lasting and enveloping taste that becomes more intense and stronger over time, Harmonious, full-bodied, warm and persistent taste.

Ageing: in the bottle in an air-conditioned cellar for at least 3 months. Characteristics: red colour, perfumes of fruit, cherry, plum and apple fresh taste.

Grape-variety, Tuscan Trebbiano with the addition of other white grapes. Vinification: temperature-controlled steel tanks. Maturing: in steel in an air-conditioned cellar. Ageing: in the bottle for at least 3 months. Characteristics: straw yellow colour, light perfumes of flowers, rose, iris and lily-of-the-valley, fresh and harmonious taste.

Maturing: In French oak barrels with capacities of 0,500 liters and American oak barriques with capacities of 0.250 liters, first separation, medium-bodied. Ageing: In bottle for at least 6 month. Characteristics: Intense ruby color with sweet fragrances of nuts, coconut, vanilla and red fruit, Mature and tar-like fruit, ripe and long-lasting substances, silky texture filled and enriched with Merlot that integrates and expands Sangiovese.

Grape-variety, Obtained by bleeding Sangiovese grapes at the start of fermentation. Vinification: In steel in an air-conditioned environment.
Characteristics: Pinkish colour, perfume of slightly unripe red fruit with touches of tobacco and bitter honey. It leaves a pleasantly fresh sensation in the mouth, with perfumes reminiscent of bitter black cherry and green plum.

Vino Giovane di Massanera

Produced with Chianti Classico grapes of young vines, harvested by hand in small crates to avoid crushing. Vinified in stainless steel with daily pumping. Bottled and aged for at least two months in bottle.
